In any crisis, there will be no shortage of unscrupulous people looking to take advantage. Unfortunately, companies are targeting workers who have recently returned to the NHS to help with the coronavirus crisis and falsely claiming that workers can keep between 80 per cent and 85 per cent of their income.
HMRC has issued guidance warning workers not to sign up for any such arrangements, indicating that they will be considered tax avoidance.
