Ropes & Gray – in conjunction with leading law firms across Europe – has again updated its monthly CSRD Transposition Tracker. The Tracker describes Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive transposition and other Omnibus activity across the 27 EU member states and three EEA EFTA countries. This update includes information and developments as of June 30, and for some countries well into July, as well as additional commentary from the participating law firms.
The Tracker is available here.
As of this update, six countries have now adopted legislation implementing the “Stop the clock” directive. This past month, Hungary, Ireland and Norway joined Estonia, France and Lithuania, which had transposed as of our last update. Progress certainly, but hardly a blistering pace. An additional seven countries have introduced, but not yet adopted, “Stop the clock” legislation: Denmark, Finland, Germany, Latvia, Luxembourg, Poland and Slovenia, with Germany being the addition since last month.
Otherwise, CSRD-related developments continue to come fast and furious. Here’s a sampling of our posts over the last month of particular relevance to US-based multinationals tracking CSRD developments:
