The Securities & Public Companies and Mergers & Acquisitions Groups of the Corporate Department are seeking a San Francisco based mid to senior level associate. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in capital markets, corporate governance, and strategic mergers & acquisitions. In particular, candidates should have experience representing corporate issuers and major investment banks in all aspects of equity capital markets financings, mergers and acquisitions and advice to clients on compliance & corporate governance issues in the life sciences and/or technology space. Labor and Employment Department
The Labor and Employment Department is seeking associates with at least two years of experience to join our group in a partnership-track position in either our Boston, New York, or San Francisco offices. Attorneys in this role will work on the labor and employment aspects of corporate transactions and draft and negotiate purchase agreements, employment agreements, restrictive covenant agreements, retention agreements, separation agreements, and other agreements in corporate deals. In addition, this attorney may spend a portion of his or her time on advice and counseling, executive compensation matters, employment litigation, and training. Applicants must have excellent attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills. Superlative academic and large law firm experience is preferred. Salary is commensurate with experience.
