Our Culture

London Culture

A culture focused on development

We are renowned for our supportive and collaborative culture and we are committed to attracting, developing, and retaining diverse teams filled with talented professionals who are motivated about the practice of law. Helping you reach your full potential is a key part of our culture of excellence. We have a strong commitment to continued professional development and we run a full programme of technical and soft skills training. At every stage of your career you will receive regular and ongoing feedback to ensure that you receive a steady mix of work and real-time performance feedback along with quarterly development conversations.

A culture where teamwork is valued

We operate within a relaxed and friendly environment, where everyone is included. We have an ‘open door’ policy; this means it is normal for you to interact with partners on a daily basis. We enjoy working together with other talented individuals in teams, across offices, practices, and geographies on interesting and cutting-edge work to solve our clients' most pressing needs. We are driven and results oriented and are dedicated to providing our clients globally with exceptional client service.

Throughout the office, individuals meet socially to build their relationships across teams. Office events include monthly Friday night drinks, summer and Christmas parties, team charity volunteering days, charity and fundraising events and sports clubs such as football, cricket and netball. These societies are employee-led, and are a great opportunity to get to know each other across practice areas. We also hold regular social activities specifically for our trainee and supervisor teams.

A culture of respect and inclusivity

The culture of the London office is one of respect, inclusivity and the promotion of individuals; we have fostered an environment where employees from all backgrounds bring their individual strengths to work collectively to serve the firm’s clients.
