The long-anticipated financial reform, with critical compromises and new twists in conference committee, has reordered the federal regulatory landscape and significantly increased the scope of governmental authority.  Banking entities will re-examine their private equity and hedge fund relationships and Executive Compensation arrangements will go under the microscope.  As important matters have been left to agency rulemaking, this is only the end of the beginning.  Nonetheless, the large pieces of the financial overhaul are now in place.  This presentation will address the impact the Act will have on Banking, including the Volcker Rule, as well as Executive Compensation and Corporate Governance.
