Former AUSA Robert Khuzami was appointed the SEC's Director of Enforcement in February 2009, in the midst of financial meltdown and the Madoff revelations. The ensuing two years have witnessed a restructuring of the enforcement staff, as well as pursuit of an ambitious enforcement agenda, including noteworthy litigation settlements and trials. Our discussion will focus on changes and indications of current and near term top priorities for the SEC's Enforcement Division.
