On June 10, government enforcement partner Christopher Conniff (New York), along with John Azzarello, former deputy counsel to the 9/11 Commission and Whipple Azzarello founder, led a panel “The War on Terror: Ethical obligations for Lawyers.” The event focused on possible impacts of border searches and NSA spying on privileged communications between attorneys and clients. Seventy people, including general counsel, chief operation officers and chief compliance officers, attended the event.
