Mark Barnes and Katherine Wang Lead Pharma Industry Roundtable in Shanghai

​Health Care partner Mark Barnes (Boston), and life sciences partner Katherine Wang (Shanghai), along with Rebecca Li, Executive Director of the Multi-Region Clinical Trial (MRCT) Center at Harvard, led a pharma industry roundtable in Shanghai on June 2. The roundtable brought together senior regulatory affairs leaders and counsel from multinational pharmaceutical companies to discuss: scientific perspectives on the interpretation of China’s guidance on international multi-country clinical trials (IMCT), how ICH-E-5 and ICH-E17 considerations fit into the regulatory framework relating to multi-regional clinical trials (MRCT), and other scientific issues. The event was very well received, with attendees from leading pharmaceutical companies including GSK, Novartis, Roche, Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, Boehringer Ingelheim, and Eli Lilly Asia.
