On Oct. 23, Ropes & Gray’s Chicago office will host a panel, presented by the Chicago Bar Foundation and the Chicago Bar Association, titled “Community Development Through Pro Bono” to kick off the CBF/CBA’s 13th annual Pro Bono Week, which runs from Oct. 23 – 27. Pro Bono Week is an annual celebration that recognizes the impact pro bono service makes in providing access to justice to the community’s disadvantaged, celebrates lawyers and non-lawyers who volunteer to enhance communities, and helps connect legal professionals to pro bono opportunities. The week is also celebrated by the American Bar Association nationwide; this year marks the ABA’s 8th annual nationwide pro bono celebration.
