Laura Hoey, co-head of Ropes & Gray’s government investigations & white collar practice, spoke at The American Bar Association’s 32nd Annual National Institute on White Collar Crime. Ms. Hoey presented in a breakout session on Wednesday, February 28 that focused on health care fraud and abuse. The participants in the session discussed, among other things, the ongoing DOJ investigation of patient assistance programs backed by health care companies, which affect multiple sectors of the health care industry.
