On April 11, Chicago members of the Ropes & Gray Women’s Forum hosted a networking event for women thought leaders in the Midwest business, legal and non-profit communities. The event was held at Monteverde Restaurant & Pastificio, a restaurant owned by James Beard Award-winning chef Sarah Grueneberg.
Established in 1996, the Ropes & Gray Women’s Forum promotes professional growth among female lawyers. Speakers at Women’s Forum events are firm and industry leaders who address key topics such as networking, marketing, and career and business development opportunities.
Attendees from Ropes & Gray at the April 11 event included litigation and enforcement partner and former co-chair of the Women’s Forum Laura Hoey, health care partner Deborah Gersh, hedge funds partner Deborah Monson, investment management partner Paulita Pike and health care counsel Alison Fethke. They were joined by women leaders from Archer Daniels Midland Company, University of Chicago, AbbVie, Northwestern University, Madison Dearborn Partners, Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago and Abbott Laboratories, among others.
