IP litigation partner Leslie Spencer (Silicon Valley) will speak at the World Congress Corporate IP Counsel Forum on a panel titled “Examine How Artificial Intelligence Innovation Will Force Change to the Framework of Intellectual Property Law” on March 28 in New York.
The panel will address IP-related considerations for AI innovation, including ownership and licensing of AI generated invention; subject matter eligibility challenges to AI patent protection; the implications of AI as an inventor, author, or infringer; and the use of AI in IP asset management.
Panel participants also include Maxine Graham, vice president and chief IP counsel — General Counsel’s Organization — IP Law and Strategy Group, American Express, IEX Group, Inc. general counsel Sophia Lee, and Synchrony Financial senior vice president, senior counsel for intellectual property and technology Dan Pirolo.
