On March 4, Ropes & Gray private equity partners Neill Jakobe and Martin Ruhaak moderated a panel titled “Recent Trends in PE & Finance (Emphasis on Financing Structures)” at the 21st Annual BPOC Private Equity Conference, hosted by the Chicago Booth Private Equity Group and the Polsky Center at the University of Chicago. The panel featured speakers Therese Icuss (Managing Director, Underwriting & Credit, Fidelity), Jon Maschmeyer (Senior Partner & Co-Head of Healthcare, The Vistria Group) and Ward McNally (Managing Partner & Founder, McNally Capital).
The annual conference brings together between 300 and 400 industry practitioners and MBA students to network and gain insight on the current trends and developments in private equity related to a specific theme. The theme of the program this year was “Capital in Motion: Private Equity’s Role in a Dynamic Economy.”
