Health care partner Margaux Hall will discuss legislative and regulatory developments in drug pricing on May 10 as part of the American Health Law Association’s Health Plan Law and Compliance Institute 2022. The presentation will take stock of legislative and regulatory drug pricing developments—what has happened, what has been delayed and what is likely to happen—in 2022 and during the remainder of President Biden’s first term. Specifically, the presentation will address:
- Potential drug pricing legislation, including in the wake of the midterm elections
- Administrative priorities and areas of actual or likely regulatory change
- Potential legal and policy implications
Margaux will present alongside Sonja Nesbit, a managing director at FTI Consulting.
The Health Plan Law and Compliance Institute will take place from May 9–10 at the Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile. The two-day program provides informative and practical education on a variety of issues and best practices of interest to in-house counsel, compliance officers at health plans, and their outside counsel and advisors. More information about the program, including registration, can be found here.
