Health care partner Christine Moundas, who serves as co-head of the firm’s digital health initiative, will present at the American Conference Institute’s first Life Sciences AI Summit in New York City on February 22. The conference will explore legal, regulatory and compliance topics to advance innovation in the biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, medical device and diagnostics industries.
Christine will present on the panel entitled “Navigating Data Privacy Challenges and AI in the Life Sciences: A Legal Roadmap for the Digital Age.” The panel will address issues including the risks and rewards in using vast datasets in AI innovation, strategies to ensure data protection when complying with HIPAA regulations, techniques to anonymize sensitive data, harmonizing AI ethics and bias mitigation, and preserving and protecting patient data.
