Health care partner Torrey McClary will present at the American Health Law Association’s “Health Care Transactions” conference in Nashville on April 15 and 16.
Torrey will present with Juniper Advisory Managing Director Brent McDonald on the panel “We are Never Ever Getting Back Together: Strategies to Create Lasting Relationships and Avoid Heartbreak in Your M&A Deals.”
The session will address topics including an analysis and assessment of health care industry dealmaking trends and best practices in transaction structure, governance and process; merger and acquisition and partnership key takeaways focused on strategies for success and pitfalls to avoid; and practice pointers on strategic communications, diligence timing, deal ambassadors, stakeholder viewpoints and regulatory and third-party approvals.
The AHLA conference provides strategies for health care dealmakers to recognize and mitigate risks from due diligence to negotiation to post-integration and to address legal and business considerations for health care transactions.
