Joshua will moderate the panel “Exchanges of Scientific Information: A Closer Look at FDA’s Perspective.” The session will explore the impact of the FDA’s January 2025 final guidance regarding communications of scientific information on unapproved uses, the First Amendment addendum under the current administration, and how medical products companies should be adopting to the new landscape.
Rebecca will present on the panel “Influencer Endorsement of Rx Drugs: Regulatory Oversight Today.” The panel will examine regulations and guidelines for advertisements on various social media platforms, advertising of prescription drugs on telehealth platforms, recent FDA warning letters, and the impact of social media marketing on viewers.
