Health care and higher education partner Mark Barnes will moderate a panel on “The Future of American Scientific Research in an Era of Political and Geopolitical Conflict” on October 27 at the Solomon Center for Health Law and Policy at the Yale Law School. The event is co-sponsored by the Yale Health Law & Policy Society. Mark is the Oscar M. Ruebhausen Visiting Lecturer in Law at the Yale Law School.
The panel discussion will explore recent changes to federal research policy, including changes to the longstanding partnership between the federal government and America’s research universities, and what this transformation implies for future funding and organization of science in America.
