Ropes & Gray is representing North Berkshire Healthcare Inc., and its affiliate North Adams Regional Hospital, in Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings commenced June 13.

Northern Berkshire Healthcare and North Adams Regional Hospital have approximately $43 million in secured, tax-exempt bond debt, as well as a substantially underfunded defined benefit pension plan.
