Private Investment Funds Partner Discusses Recent Private Equity Trends in Law360

Private investment funds partner Morri Weinberg is quoted on the trend toward more conservative fundraising by private equity firms in the Jan. 28 Law360 article “PE Firms Set Modest Goals As Market Favors Smaller Deals.” Mr. Weinberg notes that some firms have also adapted to the changing market by reducing their headcounts, number of funds under management and assets. He says, "What everyone's trying to figure out is, 'What can I be doing differently that allows me to better utilize and leverage those different factors and ultimately develop a stronger firm and better returns for investors?'"
