Doug Hallward-Driemeier Discusses Landmark Marriage Equality Case at DePauw University, Ubben Lecture Series

On Oct. 26, appellate & Supreme Court partner Doug Hallward-Driemeier spoke at his undergraduate alma mater, DePauw University, about his role arguing the landmark marriage equality case, Obergefell v. Hodges, as part of the distinguished Timothy and Sharon Ubben Lecture Series. Doug explained how DePauw exposed him to the ideas that shaped his own views on marriage, and how he framed his arguments before the court.
