On March 16, Ropes & Gray’s Seoul office hosted a two-hour seminar in Pangyo, Korea for life sciences and biotechnology companies looking to enter the Chinese market. IP transactions partner Geoffrey Lin (Shanghai) presented. Seoul office managing partner Bill Kim delivered the opening remarks, and IP litigation partner David Chun (Seoul) was also in attendance.
Mr. Lin gave an overview of the PRC government structure and legal environment and addressed key regulatory developments in China. He also discussed trends and key considerations in connection of doing JV deals, collaborations and licensing deals in China. Ms. Yang spoke on strategies and practical tips for addressing anti-corruption enforcement in China.
