For the third year in a row, the Public Interest Law Initiative (PILI), has named Ropes & Gray to its Pro Bono Recognition Roster. PILI honors law firms and corporations whose pro bono efforts provide underrepresented individuals in Illinois access to legal services. In the Chicago office, government enforcement partner Laura Hoey directs the firm’s regional pro bono contributions.
Notably, in 2015, nearly 1,400 attorneys, paralegals, summer associates and other professionals at Ropes & Gray donated 114,000 hours of legal services to help impoverished individuals, underserved communities, nonprofits and small businesses.
