On Nov. 3, Ropes & Gray will, together with APG, host a half-day interactive collaborative event for the United Nations-backed Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI), which is being held in partnership with The Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA).
The agenda will address responsible investments into hedge funds and will review how asset owners consider ESG factors when allocating to hedge funds and evaluate the evolving nature of their demands. The program will also consider how alternative investment managers are responding and adapting their transparency reporting, fund structures and investment strategies.
The PRI is the world's leading proponent of responsible investment. It works to understand the investment implications of environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors and to support its international network of investor signatories in incorporating these factors into their investment and ownership decisions. The PRI acts in the long-term interests of its signatories, of the financial markets and economies in which they operate and ultimately of the environment and society as a whole.
Ropes & Gray hedge funds partner Isabel Dische will deliver welcoming remarks at the start of the program.
