Ropes & Gray represented Boston-based BV Investment, a middle-market private equity firm focused on the business services and IT services sectors, in its purchase of a minority interest in C-4 Analytics, an award-winning digital marketing firm. Under the terms of the agreement, C-4 Analytics' founders Michael Weiss and Justin Cook will maintain a majority interest and control and will continue day-to-day management of the company.
Based in Saugus, Mass., C-4 Analytics has been recognized on the Inc. 500 list of the fastest-growing companies in America; Deloitte Technology’s Fast 500 list of the fastest growing companies in North America; and has won over 25 national and international awards for its campaigns since 2015.
BV Investment Partners is currently investing its eighth private equity fund. The firm is one of the oldest and most experienced sector-focused private equity firms in North America. Since its founding in 1983, the firm has invested over $2.9 billion in 88 companies, actively targeting investments in the business services and information technology services industries.
