The article, “Finding Common Ground on Shareholder Proposals,” highlights that “the process by which shareholders are permitted to include their proposals in company proxy statements is under attack.” It then examines a number of proposals that improve the shareholder proposal process without undermining the rights the shareholder proposal rule provides.
