Ropes & Gray advised IGIS Asset Management in connection with the financing related to the acquisition by KKR, together with IGIS Asset Management and SK D&D, of Namsan Square in Seoul. The transaction was announced on February 27. KKR’s press release about the transaction can be found here.
Built in 1978, Namsan Square is strategically located in Seoul’s central business district. It occupies more than 75,000 square meters across 23 floors of premium office and retail space, and includes tenants such as multinational and South Korean corporations, as well as government organizations.
