Ropes & Gray health care partner Adrianne Ortega has been named to the newly formed Boston Lawyers Group Board of Directors. The Boston Lawyers Group was established in 1986 by Ropes & Gray and other Boston law firms with a mission to identify, recruit, advance, and retain attorneys of color. Following the retirement of Executive Director, Carolyn Hebsgaard, BLG has established a new organizational structure with a new Board of Directors to build upon its original mission by expanding its programming and enhancing outreach efforts.
At Ropes & Gray, Adrianne advises health care and higher education clients across the country on complex transactions and regulatory matters. Adrianne is a Hiring Partner for Ropes & Gray’s Boston office, is a former participant in BLG’s career development programs, and has served as an interviewer at the BLG annual job fair for many years. She is also co-chair of the firm’s Multicultural Forum, which sponsors initiatives aimed at promoting and supporting diverse lawyers.
