Ropes & Gray advised VetCor, a portfolio company of Harvest Partners and Cressey & Company, in its acquisition of People, Pets & Vets, a veterinary services company with over 150 animal hospitals located throughout the United States. The transaction was announced on Sept. 7 in a press release.
VetCor, founded in 1997, is an operator of veterinary practices in North America with 549 locations across 40 states plus Canada. Harvest Partners is a New York-based private equity investment firm that focuses on investments in middle-market companies. Cressey & Company is a private investment firm based in Chicago and Nashville focused on building leading healthcare services and information technology businesses.
