IP litigation attorneys will present at the IPWatchdog Patent Litigation Masters 2023 program on May 15—17 at the IPWatchdog Studios in Ashburn, Virginia. The high-level interactive program will explore litigation in the most active federal district courts in the country and appeals to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
Matt Rizzolo, who will co-chair the conference, will present on the panel “Improving and Streamlining Patent Enforcement in America,” on May 15. The panel will discuss the current state of patent enforcement in America and ways to streamline the system between the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, International Trade Commission and federal district court.
Steve Pepe and Cassandra Roth will present on the panel “Litigating Standard Essential Patents,” on May 16. The panel will examine the latest SEP cases worldwide and discuss SEP litigation centered on Fair, Reasonable and Non-Discriminatory (FRAND) obligations and issues on negotiating in good faith. The panel will also discuss the European Commission SEP proposed regulation and influence and enforcement in the U.S. and U.K.
