Ropes & Gray represented Bain Capital Tech Opportunities in its strategic growth investment in Ren, an Indianapolis-based technology provider for financial institutions and nonprofit organizations. The investment, Ren’s first institutional capital to date, will be used to fund new product features, rapidly scale the team, support donor-advised funds awareness, and expand Ren’s charity network. Financial terms were not disclosed. The deal was announced in a July 27 press release.
