Ropes & Gray advised Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe (WCAS), a leading private equity firm focused exclusively on healthcare and technology industries, in the close of WCAS XIV, L.P. (the “Fund”). The Fund closed at over $5 billion of total capital, above both its target and WCAS’s prior fund, WCAS XIII, L.P., which closed at $4 billion. The Fund close was announced on July 12 in a press release.
