Ropes & Gray represented TekniPlex Healthcare, a Genstar Capital portfolio company, in a definitive agreement to acquire medical device manufacturer Seisa Medical. The deal, announced in a Nov. 9 press release, is expected to expand TekniPlex’s medical technology solutions platform.
TekniPlex is a global provider of medical device components and material science solutions. The company is based in Wayne, Pennsylvania, and operates in 12 countries. Seisa oversees design and development, component manufacturing and final assembly of medical devices in facilities in the U.S., Mexico and Slovakia.
