Tokyo office managing partner and Asia private equity and M&A chair Tsuyoshi Imai was featured in a Jan. 23 IFLR article titled “US-Japan cross-border M&A expected to rise in 2024.” In the article, Tsuyoshi shared insights into the drivers of increased deal activity between the two countries, including macro-economic factors, geopolitical issues,
foreign exchange considerations, asset quality, among others. “Adding everything up, Japan is currently among the best environments for inbound financial investors,” Tsuyoshi said in the piece.
