The Washington Post published an article (subscription required) examining concerns among business leaders and lawyers related to the risks of artificial intelligence. In the article, litigation & enforcement partner Jeremiah Williams characterized AI as a “different” risk to businesses because of its generative nature. The article notes how the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) “labeled AI as an emerging risk” and that similar concerns are being expressed by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and the Financial Stability Oversight Council.
