Ropes & Gray advised Ginkgo Bioworks, a horizontal platform for cell programming, in the acquisition of Patch Biosciences, a synthetic biology and machine learning company with a platform to engineer gene therapies and medicine. The transaction was announced on February 28. Financial terms were not disclosed.
