Health care litigation partner Stephanie Webster was spotlighted in the National Women’s Law Center Leadership Advisory Committee (LAC) March Newsletter.
“The LAC allows me to leverage my legal expertise in areas I am deeply passionate about. I am currently working on a pro bono project with NWLC and proud to include my colleagues in the opportunity,” said Stephanie.
Stephanie recently worked with NWLC and the firm’s appellate team to submit a persuasive amicus brief in a U.S. Supreme Court matter where the Court ultimately ruled that off-campus student speech that is bullying, harassing, or threatening may undermine students’ rights to be safe and to access equal educational opportunities, while still protecting other forms of important off-campus student speech.
In addition, Stephanie worked with NWLC on state-by-state surveys regarding state censorship bills affecting schools and public libraries.
