Asset management partner Jason Brown and counsel Colleen Meyer published an article in a financial services special report edition of Financier Worldwide.

 The article noted that while the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has always taken a close look at performance metrics of registered investment advisers during SEC examinations, following the adoption of new rules and the publication of recent guidance, investment advisers registered with the SEC, including private equity (PE) firms, now have to adhere to prescriptive rules when calculating and reporting their net performance returns.
