T+1 examination sweeps targeting documentation of policies, trainings and third-party contracts have begun following the May 28 implementation date by the Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”).
Asset management partner Brian McCabe commented on this shift in Ignites, noting that “the complications intensify for exchange-traded funds holding foreign shares and non-U.S.-listed ETFs holding U.S. securities, as the funds and their authorized participants will be required to settle at different times.”
