Ropes & Gray represented EQT Partners in its acquisition of PageUp Group, a human-resources and talent software company that had been majority-owned by global, technology-focused investment firm Battery Ventures. Financial terms of the deal were not released. The completed transaction was announced in an Oct. 31 press release.
The team included private equity partners Martin Ruhaak and Neill Jakobe, tax partner Elaine Murphy, employment partner Jen Cormier, IP transactions partner Regina Sam Penti, litigation & enforcement partner Andy Dale, and data, privacy & cybersecurity partner Ed McNicholas.
