Ropes & Gray advised Gateway Investment Advisers, a pioneer in options-based investment strategies and affiliate of Natixis Investment Managers, in its agreement to acquire the business of Belmont Capital Group, a Los Angeles-based provider of customized, options-based separately managed account strategies. The deal was announced in a press release on July 16.
The acquisition reinforces Gateway’s commitment to SMAs, one of the fastest-growing product segments in the U.S. financial services industry.
