Ropes & Gray represented TA Associates and its portfolio company Momentive Software in Momentive's acquisition of Personify, a provider of association management software, event management solutions, job board software, and member engagement tools. The transaction was announced on Jan. 6 in a press release. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Momentive is a provider of cloud-based software that powers mission-driven associations and nonprofit organizations.
The deal team was led by private equity partner Taylor Hart and tax partner Zhen Zhang.
