Ropes & Gray advised Altamont Capital Partners in its investment in Key Container Corporation, a leading corrugated box manufacturer in New England. The transaction was announced on March 9 in a press release. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Altamont's investment, combined with their deep knowledge across industrials and packaging, will help Key Container's management team build a scaled corrugated platform.
Altamont is a private equity firm focused on transforming and scaling lower-middle market companies through significant business-building and value-creation resources.
The team was led by private equity partners Elizabeth Gallucci and Chau Le and included tax partner Benjamin Rogers, environmental partner Peter Alpert, real estate partner Sally Davis, employment partners Stephanie Bruce and Jen Cormier, and data, privacy & cybersecurity partner Fran Faircloth.
