Ropes & Gray represented Blackstone Life Sciences in a collaboration with Teva Pharmaceuticals where funds managed by Blackstone Life Sciences will provide $400 million over four years to support the clinical development of duvakitug, a human monoclonal antibody targeting TL1A, a mediator of inflammation and fibrosis, currently in phase 3 clinical studies for the treatment of ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease. The transaction was announced on March 3.
Under the agreement, Blackstone will be eligible to receive regulatory and commercial milestones as well as royalties on duvakitug worldwide sales.
