Ropes & Gray represented Eversource Energy (NYSE: ES) in the company’s debut issuance of two series of junior subordinated notes due 2056, totaling $1.5 billion. The offering closed on Feb. 27.
Eversource Energy operates New England’s largest energy delivery system and serves approximately 4.4 million electric, natural gas, and water utility customers in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire.
The team was led by capital markets partner Tom Fraser, tax partners David Saltzman and Pamela Glazier, and finance partner Arek Maczka.
