Ropes & Gray advised AMAROK, a leading perimeter security company, in a strategic investment in Evolon Technology, acquiring a 45 percent ownership stake in the company. Evolon provides AI-powered video monitoring and virtual guarding solutions for commercial businesses. The investment was announced on April 23. Financial terms were not disclosed.
The strategic partnership aims to strengthen the integrated monitoring offering with perimeter defense and AI-enabled monitoring to stop threats earlier and reduce losses.
The Ropes & Gray team was led by emerging companies & venture capital partner Dan Freshman, counsel Michael Connolly and associate Kayla King and included finance partner Chris Poggi and private equity partner Charlie Boer.
