In a Secondaries Investor article, ERISA and benefits partner Josh Lichtenstein, who heads the firm’s ERISA fiduciary practice and co-leads the firm’s collective investment trust (CIT) practice, discussed the U.S. Department of Labor’s proposal to include alternative assets in 401(k) investments.
Josh explained that while the DOL proposal does not rule out continuation vehicles, they are unlikely to sit at the top of the 401(k) structure given their closed-end nature.
