Ropes & Gray represented NEOS Investments, a specialized provider of systematic option income exchange-traded funds (ETFs), in an agreement to be sold to Goldman Sachs Asset Management. The transaction was announced on Aug. 12 in a press release.
Founded in 2022, NEOS is one of the fastest growing ETF platforms, managing $30 billion in assets across 19 option income ETFs as of June 30, 2026.
The team was led by private equity partners Garrett Charon and Andrew Silver and included asset management partner Keith MacLeod, tax partners Jim Brown and Benjamin Rogers, employment, executive compensation & benefits partner Danna Kivell, and IP transactions partner Jordan Altman.
