The American Lawyer Ranks Ropes & Gray Among Leading Bankruptcy Firms

Ropes & Gray worked on two of the 10 largest bankruptcies filed in 2009, according to The American Lawyer in its annual "Corporate Scorecard," published in the April 2010 issue. The firm was creditor’s committee counsel for both the $13.8 billion Charter Communications and the $11.8 billion R.H. Donnelley Chapter 11 bankruptcy filings. Charter was also one of the largest bankruptcy emergences for 2009. The magazine’s bankruptcy listings are based on the listed companies’ most recently filed annual reports prior to filing under Chapter 11.
