For the third consecutive year, Yale Law Women has recognized Ropes & Gray for gender equity in its partnership ranks. Ropes & Gray was cited as one of only three firms at which women comprise at least 25 percent of the equity partnership (Ropes & Gray does not have non-equity partners).
Ropes & Gray has earned a strong reputation for its commitment to diversity and inclusion. Among other honors, the firm was previously recognized by Yale Law Women for gender equity with regard to partner promotions, and was named to Law360’s 2017 “Ceiling Smashers” list of top five large law firms with the highest percentage of women equity partners. Ropes & Gray also ranked number one for Overall Diversity and in the top five for Diversity for Women in the 2018 Vault guide. Additionally, the firm announced last November that Julie H. Jones will become the first woman chair in Ropes & Gray’s history when she takes over the top leadership position in 2020.
